Cornerstones for the Future

Our partner Construction for Change is holding it’s annual event to build awareness for Construction for Change and raise funds for its upcoming projects in Kenya, Cambodia, India, Liberia, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic.

Construction for Change (CfC) is a 501(c)(3) organization that was created to  provide infrastructure assistance to other not for profit organizations around the  world.  CfC accomplishes this by providing construction management, project  design, and partial funding.  CfC partners with organizations that specifically  address the many issues surrounding poverty.

In 2009, first full year of operations, CfC has grown to include over 30 volunteers  in many different capacities.  CfC is currently managing construction in Kenya  and Zambia and is involved in design and preconstruction planning for three other  projects.  With over $140,000 raised, 2009 was a great success and helped build a  solid foundation for the future.
